booking details for public classes (children)

The Tranquil Treehouse® is now offering ONLINE public classes (via a secure Zoom log in) to children aged between 4-18 years old. Please look below for details of sessions and how to book.

Details below for LIVE CLASSES - currently on hold:

A unique emotional wellbeing session combining yoga, stories and different meditation techniques including mindfulness. Taught by a qualified primary school teacher who is also a certified children's yoga and relaxation instructor with 10 years’ experience. We have full insurance, enhanced DBS certificate and PPL Licence.  Sessions are non-competitive, relaxing and calming. All equipment is provided but children are asked to come in comfortable clothes they can move around in. Please feel free to bring water and  a blanket or throw for our quiet relaxation at the end of the session.

All sessions take place in Room A (Floor 1), Cleadon Park Primary Care Centre (PCC), 10 Prince Edward Road, South Shields, NE34 8PS. For the younger children, sessions are 45 minutes long and parents/carers are asked to STAY with their children in Room A. For the older children, parents/carers are asked to leave their children in Room A. There is seating right outside the door, a quiet lounge area in the upstairs library or downstairs in the PCC. Please be aware that the PCC is open to the public and so any children (siblings etc.) not taking part in the sessions, must be supervised at all times. Parents/carers are asked to collect their child/children from Room A at the end of the session. The venue has parking facilities (free for 2 hours) and lift access. Regretfully, once sessions are booked, they cannot be refunded or rolled over. The higher Paypal price is due to Paypal fees, but if you are paying by cash or bank transfer, you will pay a slightly lower amount.
